I searched the Nikon website, but I couldn’t find any drivers there for Windows 7 because they say that the camera is automaticly recognized by Windows 7. Tried searching on the internet and on my PC but no drivers can be found. When I start ‘ devmgmt.msc’ I see ‘NIKON DSC D3100’ categorized under ‘ Other’ with a yellow exlamation mark.When I right click on it and choose ‘ Update drivers’ It cannot find anything. I get a balloon message saying that new hardware is found, but shortly after that I get the message that the hardware cannot be installed because no drivers could be found. However, when I connect the Nikon D3100 to the current PC, Windows 7 doesn't recognize the The camera was working great on my previous PC with Windows 7 Ultimate (a Dell Dimension 3000). I wanted to transfer some photo's to my PC from a Nikon D3100 camera. Windows is performing absolutely great and I have no problems whatsoever until last week. I installed Windows 7 Enterprise N (from my TechNet subscription) on a somewhat older PC (Dell Dimension 5000, Intel Pentium 4, 4GB RAM).
