![]() ![]() I was just making it known that the primary cause of the FPS drop is the precombined meshes system. ![]() ![]() I'd honestly rather Beth had went for less intense detail or at least included something to generate new precombined meshes, similar to DynLOD for Skymans.ĮDIT: I should mention, I'm not saying you're wrong at all- turning off or just downgrading shadows is likely going to help a shitton. The downside is you can't edit a cell without breaking it (if you so much as click on an object in the cell it could break the meshes) and you can't use the console to disable parts of the cell. nifs in a cell and merges them, making it have to load a lot less. If you want to see proof, go into a vanilla installation of FO4, stand in the city with a normal. I also run a GTX780, and, while I'm sure disabling/shadowboosting shadows would make a large difference, precombined meshes are the primary cause of this. ![]()
